Vernon – Carrying signs with slogans like ‘protect our children’ a group of Vernon residents rallied Tuesday morning in support of a proposal revamp of 25th Street.

The possible changes include adding more sidewalks and installing medians and islands that would prevent through traffic and block left turns at three intersections.
