Kelowna Subway robbed at knifepoint

KELOWNA, B.C. – A young Kelowna man is facing charges following a hold-up at a fast food restaurant.

The Subway restaurant at Lawrence Avenue and Gordon Drive was robbed at knifepoint by a lone male shortly before 7 P.M. Monday.

The suspect fled on foot but was arrested a short while later.

The 22-year-old suspect is said to be on probation, according to RCMP.
