Diabetes is on the rise in the Maritimes. In fact, we have one of the highest rates of the disease in the country. Now, there’s a new online tool being made available to patients to help them manage the disease more effectively.At 6:45 we’ll speak with a health care provider and a patient to find out how it all works.

After the tragic events in Moncton last week, many communities are now having a closer look at how police officers are equipped to deal with guns like those used in the rampage. At 7:15 we’ll talk with Halifax Police Chief Jean-Michel Blais to find out if our force is prepared if there is ever a similar situation in our city.
