KELOWNA– A young Okanagan driver is thankful he and his friends were able to walk away from a fiery crash early Monday evening.
Ben Jeet was heading north on Highway 97 when he says a pickup truck turned left in front of him at the Spall Rd. intersection.

Jeet says he didn’t have time to stop and the vehicles collided.
Jeet’s car filled with smoke and instructed his friends to get out of the car.
It burst into flames.
Jeet and the others suffered only minor cuts and scrapes.
It’s not clear if the other driver was injured, although he didn’t appear to be.
Jeet’s car was completely destroyed.
Police are investigating.
