Four people injured after multiple incidents in Etobicoke

TORONTO – The emergency room of Sunnybrook General Hospital is in lockdown as a precautionary measure after four people were injured in three separate incidents in Rexdale.

Details are sparse, but police confirm incidents took place near Etobicoke General Hospital and the Kipling and Finch Avenue West area.

Authorities believe they are looking for at least four suspects in two vehicles.

Previous reports cited man with a gunshot wound to the hip being dropped off at Etobicoke General Hospital before being transferred to Sunnybrook Hospital.

A woman was also shot, sustaining non-life threatening injuries.
