REGINA – Police in Regina have arrested a 56-year-old man in connection with a rash of break and enters at local businesses throughout the city.
On Saturday morning police spotted a man who matched the description of a suspect from previous break and enters in the 4400 block of Albert St. The suspect was arrested inside a business that he allegedly entered illegally and was taken into custody.
Further investigation by police have linked the man to 15 other commercial break and enters between April 17th and May 24th in Regina.
Police have charged Brian Calvin Makelki with 28 charges including 15 counts of break and enter.
Makelki made his first court appearance in Regina on Monday morning.
