It looks good now but there’s quite a bit of uncertainty with this week’s forecast. Upcoming storms on Tuesday night could change the forecast for the rest of the week in Winnipeg.
As of Monday morning, the outlook looks good … at least during the day. There’s plenty of sun and temperatures are right around or above seasonal. Night time is a different story.
Tuesday night in Winnipeg, there’s a chance of thunderstorms and it is unclear at this point what exactly could happen. There is a chance Tuesday evening will be quite peaceful, no real storm moving through. There is also a chance of some severe thunderstorm watches/warnings popping up with the severity ranging from small hail and strong winds to a risk of a tornado, according to forecasters at A Weather Moment. This will likely have an impact on the forecast for the rest of the week so imagine an asterisk beside Wednesday.
Longer range, there is more consensus with the weather nearing the end of the week. Thursday night/Friday are looking quite soggy and again come with the chance of severe weather but things should clear up in time for the weekend.
