History

Liberal MPP Rick Bartolucci, who has decided to retire, has held Sudbury since 1995. While he has typically won by large marins, in 2011 he defeated the NDP candidate by just 531 votes.

By the numbers

First contested in 1908, Sudbury has elected a wide variety of representatives including Conservative, Liberal, CCF, NDP, Liberal and PC candidates.
