CALGARY – The Calgary Police Service Arson Unit is investigating a fire in a detached garage in the community of Falconridge on Friday
The blaze broke out in the 1100 block of Falconridge Drive N.E. just before 12:30 a.m.
The homeowner noticed the fire and called 911.

Firefighters were able to bring the flames under control and keep them from spreading.
Officials say a car in the garage was completely destroyed, and the garage sustained significant damage.
However, no injuries were reported.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, police are asking anyone with information to contact them, and reminding area residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.
