Okanagan teachers are joining their colleagues around the province next week for a series of rotating one day strikes. School district administrators, parents and teachers are now preparing for the job action.
In School District 22 teachers plan to be out on the picket lines Thursday, May 29th. The school district telling parents that while school buildings will be open there won’t be any instruction and staff can’t guarantee the safety of students. As a result parents are being asked to keep their kids at home. All schools are expected to be back in session Friday, May 30th.
