EDMONTON – The 2014 Memorial Cup in underway in London, Ontario, where the Edmonton Oil Kings are representing the Western Hockey League (WHL).
The Oil Kings played their first game of the tournament Saturday against the Guelph Storm. The game ended in a 5-2 loss for the Oil Kings.

Edmonton bounced back Sunday night with a 5-2 win against the host London Knights.

The Oil Kings played their final game of the round robin Tuesday night against the QMJHL champion Val-d’Or Foreurs. Sixty minutes wasn’t enough to decide the game. The game went into double overtime, with the Foreurs coming out victorious with a 4-3 win.
