TORONTO – Commercial real estate firm Avison Young has acquired Millennium Realty Advisors LLC, a Virginia-based brokerage firm, the company said Tuesday.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The deal will add nine employees to Avison Young’s operation in the Washington area.
Millennium Realty Advisors was founded in 1997 by John McEvilly and Mike Shuler.
McEvilly and Shuler as well as three others will join Avison Young as principals under the deal.
Avison Young has grown from 11 to 23 offices and from 300 to more than 750 real estate professionals across Canada and in the U.S. over the past two and half years.
