WINNIPEG – RCMP are stepping up their search for a missing teenage girl from southern Manitoba.
Toni Rose Linklater, 16, was last seen the evening of April 14 in the St. Pierre-Jolys area and was believed to be hitchhiking toward Winnipeg. She was wearing a black jacket and black tights. She is described as 5-foot-10, 143 pounds, with an average build, long brown hair and piercings on her right eyebrow and lower lip.
“Linklater is considered at risk and police are concerned for her well-being,” Mounties said in a news release Monday.
It’s possible she’s headed to Edmonton, where she has some connections, police said.
“The RCMP are asking anyone with information to contact St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP at 204-433-7433 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, submit a secure tip online at http://www.manitobacrimestoppers.com or text “TIPMAN” plus your message to CRIMES (274637).
