Stolen truck pulled from the South Saskatchewan River

WARMAN, Sask. – A stolen truck has been pulled from the South Saskatchewan River.

The truck was spotted in the river Thursday near the Clarksboro ferry located between Warman and Aberdeen on grid road 784.

Members of the Warman fire department checked the truck and confirmed no one was inside.

The truck was pulled ashore on Friday with the help of the river rescue team from the Saskatoon Fire Department.

A check of the plates confirmed the truck had been reported stolen from Saskatoon.

Police continue to investigate.
