TORONTO – A man was killed during a brazen daylight shooting in Vaughan Thursday afternoon.
The shooting happened near the Regina Sports Café in the Highway 7 and Martingrove Road area of Vaughan shortly after 2 p.m., according to police.
It’s not yet clear whether the shooting happened inside the cafe.
The victim, an unidentified adult man, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
A heavy police presence could slow traffic in the area for several hours as the investigation continues.
