HALIFAX – A 34-year-old man is facing weapons and assault charges following an alleged brawl in north-end Dartmouth.
At 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, police were called to Trinity Avenue and Nadia Drive after hearing reports of a fight. Police said several people were involved, including a 35-year-old man who was reportedly assaulted with a baseball bat. He was taken to Dartmouth General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they then arrested the suspect and seized a baseball bat. The 34-year-old man is expected in Dartmouth court on Thursday to answer to his charges.
