REGINA – An 18-year-old woman is dead after a rollover on Lewvan Drive on Tuesday morning.
Police were called to Saskatchewan Drive and Lewvan Drive where a Mercedes turning north onto Lewvan lost control and rolled on the grassed area. The vehicle stopped rolling against the pillar of the railway overpass.
A 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were both trapped in the car for a short time before firefighters were able to remove them.
The 18-year old female later died in hospital of her injuries, and the 21-year-old male remains in serious condition at a Regina hospital.
Regina police are still investigating what caused the rollover.
