A group of strippers in Saskatchewan is collecting signatures on a petition they hope will peel away a law that bans stripping in businesses that serve alcohol.

About half a dozen exotic dancers spent the lunch hour on Monday collecting signatures in Regina.

They say the current law is outdated and puritanical and forces them to leave the province to make a living.

One dancer whose stage name is Nicky Starr says they need to collect at least 15-thousand signatures to have any impact.
