SASKATOON – Two teenagers were arrested after Saskatoon police recover a stolen vehicle around noon on Sunday.

Around 12:20 p.m., a patrol officer spotted an SUV on 7th Street East which had been reported stolen.

The officer terminated a brief pursuit, while the air support unit continued to track the vehicle.

Two suspects abandoned the SUV near the 1300-block of Adelaide Street and were seen fleeing the scene.

Canine unit members were called to the area and arrested the culprits shortly after.

Two boys, 16 and 17, face charges of possession of stolen property.

Both are scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
