Cooking school teacher Pasquale Vari has had some special guests over the years – but he never expected royalty.
On July 2, Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, were students in Vari’s class at the ITHQ cooking school in Montreal.
Vari led them through four workshops in which they learned to make special Quebecois dishes.
“It went extremely well, I couldn’t have orchestrated it to go any better,” Vari said just minutes after hosting the prince and princess.
“It was a blast, so relaxed,” he continued. “They were saying, “˜You better write this down and remember it, because I want you to make this for me next week.’ They had a lot of fun.”
