WSA Winnipeg Manager and co-owner Eduardo Badescu wouldn’t mind a few more wins as he prepares to lead the team into their fourth season of the United Soccer League’s Premier Development League. He said it’s not at the cost of what they’re trying to do, which is develop young players to further their careers.
“I’m putting players in,” Badescu said. “I’m not going to keep them on the bench because they will not develop. I’m not focusing on winning. Winning is part of it so don’t misunderstand me. But all my focus is to develop.”
