WINNIPEG – Police have arrested an alleged associate of the Manitoba Warriors street gang for second-degree murder in connection with a January homicide.
Justin Atelard Catcheway, 30, is accused of killing Justin Desmarais, 24. Police believe Desmarais died after a fight in a North End home on Jan. 18.
Police arrested Catcheway at about 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of Kennedy Street, a news release from the Winnipeg Police Service says. The tactical support team assisted in the arrest and he was taken into custody without incident, police said.
