A mudslide cut power for residents living on Eagle Bay Road on the south shore of Shuswap Lake in B.C. Saturday night.
Fire crews say a “fairly minor” mudslide came down in the 5900-block of Eagle Bay Road, taking down about 40 trees and power lines.

The slide was about 30 metres wide and half a metre thick. No structures or people were hit by the slide.
BC Hydro crews are working to restore power to the area.
The road is not currently blocked.
