UPDATE: Investigators say it appears the fire was intentionally set in a garage attached to one of the destroyed homes. Police have identified a suspect, who is currently in custody. PRINCETON, B.C. — A late night fire ripped through three homes in Princeton Thursday, leaving four renters homeless When firefighters arrived on scene just before 10:30 p.m. all three homes were fully engulfed. Three people were inside the homes at the time. There are no reports of injury. The cause of the blaze and exactly where it sparked is still under investigation and officials have yet to determine if it is suspicious. A shed, several vehicles and recreational equipment were also destroyed. Propane tanks in a shed behind one of the homes also exploded. All three homes and their contents were destroyed. The residents are now in the care of Emergency Social Services.
