TORONTO – In what can only be described as a sick prank, a 2-year-old in East Moline, Illinois was injured Monday after someone glued a dozen razor blades to playground equipment at a local park.
According to police, the blades were found attached to monkey bars and a slide with a white, putty-like substance. They were also discovered on the ground.

“I’ve seen a lot of things, but not razor blades glued to equipment at a park,” Lieutenant Brian Foltz told KWQC News.
The child only suffered a minor cut on his hand and was treated at home by his father.
Police are currently investigating and are checking other parks in the area as well.
East Moline is 260 kilometres west of Chicago.
