A man from central Alberta has pleaded guilty to his role in a worldwide child exploitation network.
Andrew Tettersell of Sylvan Lake admitted in court that he sexually assaulted a minor as well as produced, accessed and made available child pornography.
Tettersell, who is 33, was charged last fall after a global police sting that targeted men who traded child porn images over the Internet.
A separate investigation involved a police search of his computer.
A pre-sentence report, psychiatric evaluation and risk assessment is to take place before Tettersell is sentenced July 27.
He remains in custody.
