Three killed after pickup trucks collide near Sedley, Sask.

SEDLEY, Sask. – Three people are dead and two others were injured after a crash on Highway 33 just north of Sedley, Saskatchewan on Monday afternoon.

Mounties say it happened shortly after 4 p.m. between a northbound Nissan pickup truck and a southbound Dodge pickup.

Two male passengers in the Nissan were declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan was rushed to a Regina hospital where he died from his injuries.

RCMP say two men from White City, ages 29 and 34, were killed along with a 24-year-old man from Richardson.

Their names have not been released.

An 18-year-old Aberdeen woman from the Nissan is listed in serious condition in a Regina hospital.

The 50-year-old driver of the Dodge was airlifted by STARS to a Regina hospital. There is no word on his condition. He is from Weyburn, Sask.

There was blowing snow at the time of the crash. RCMP continue to investigate.
