A man has died after a workplace accident Thursday morning at the Mosaic Potash Mine in Colonsay, Saskatchewan.

RCMP were called to the mine just before 11:00 a.m. after receiving a call from an employee at the mine after a mine vehicle overturned while being driven underground.

The driver, a 35-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene.

There was no one else in the vehicle.

Occupational Health and Safety, along with the Provincial Coroner, is investigating.

The name of the deceased has not been released.

Colonsay is about 60 kilometres east of Saskatoon.
