HALIFAX – Police arrested four people Monday morning as part of an investigation into a burnt body that was found at a Nova Scotia provincial park on New Year’s Day.

Officers executing two warrants at residences on Bras Dor Lane and Springhill Drive in Dartmouth took two men, ages 27 and 23, and two women, ages 24 and 23, into custody.
The remains of 26-year-old Matthew Penney were found at the entrance to Oakfield Park on Jan. 1 and police said at the time he had been murdered.
Police are still investigating.
