HALIFAX – Police in Halifax say they have charged a man with attempted murder following a stabbing in Timberlea.
Twenty-four-year-old James Morgan Hardiman was also charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon.
Police say they responded to a report of a stabbing on Wedgewood Avenue just before 3 p.m. Monday.
Officers found a 21-year-old man who they say had been stabbed in the middle of the street.
Police say he was taken to hospital with undetermined injuries, but is expected to recover.
They say the victim and the suspect know one another.
