WATCH: KTLA anchors duck for cover as earthquake hits

Los Angeles received a rude awakening on Monday as a 4.4 magnitude earthquake rattled the city in the early morning hours.

Many morning shows were on-air at the time when the quake hit, but the best reaction came from the KTLA morning news team of Chris Schauble and Megan Henderson who went scrambling for cover under their desk.

KTLA wasn’t the only morning show to experience the quake live on-air. Watch as the studio rattles and shakes during KCBS’ morning show.

Even former football players were startled by the quake. Denver Broncos legend and NFL Network analyst Terrell Davis doesn’t know what to do as he’s caught on camera in the NFL Network studios during the tremor.
