Two Nova Scotia men will face charges after gas tanks drilled and drained

<p>HALIFAX – Two young men have been arrested in connection with a series of gas thefts in the Halifax area that led to fuel spills and the need for environmental cleanup.</p> <p>RCMP say the two were picked up early Sunday after someone in Cole Harbour called to report suspicious activity in a neighbour’s driveway.</p> <p>Police say they found several gas cans and assorted tools after stopping a car.</p> <p>RCMP say over the past two months there have been at least 12 incidents where someone drilled into a vehicle’s gas tank and drained it.</p> <p>Gas was either spilled on site or when unsuspecting owners went for refills.</p> <p>The two men will be facing numerous charges of theft and property damage.</p>
