Man charged in N.S. stabbing behind bars until court hearing later this month

<p>YARMOUTH, N.S. – A 47-year-old Nova Scotia man accused of attempted murder will be back in court May 17 for a show cause hearing.</p> <p>Robert Charles Rogers, who appeared briefly today in Yarmouth provincial court, will remain in custody. </p> <p>RCMP say they were called to a residence in Summerville on Thursday where a man had suffered a stab wound.</p> <p>The victim, Charles Norman Rogers, 68, is the father of the accused.</p> <p>He was airlifted to hospital in Halifax in serious condition.</p> <p>Robert Rogers turned himself into police on Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
