<p>PURLBROOK, N.S. – A 69-year-old man faces charges after police found an alleged marijuana grow operation at a home in Nova Scotia’s Antigonish County.</p> <p>Police drug units raided a home and garage on Hilltop Lane in Purlbrook on Friday.</p> <p>Police say officers found almost 1,500 marijuana plants in various stages of growth along with over three kilograms of dried marijuana bud, growing equipment and a firearm.</p> <p>The unnamed suspect faces charges of production and possession for the purpose of trafficking.</p> <p>He is to appear in court in August.</p> <p>(CIGO) </p>
