Police in Cape Breton say two men in custody after alleged home invasion

<p>SYDNEY, N.S. – Cape Breton Regional Police say two men are in custody following an alleged home invasion and assault.</p> <p>Police say they responded around 12:20 a.m. today to several 911 calls from a home on Main Street in Florence.</p> <p>Officers arrived and were told by a woman that three men had forced their way into her home and assaulted her son.</p> <p>Police say the victim was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.</p> <p>Around 2:50 a.m. police gave chase to a suspect vehicle attempting to flee along Highway 105.</p> <p>Police say two suspects were later arrested after trying to flee the vehicle which had been left on Ocean Street in Sydney Mines.</p>
