Woman breaks down testifying about sex attack at Calgary LRT station

<p>CALGARY – A 19-year-old woman broke down as she testified about being sexually assaulted at a transit station in Calgary last December.</p> <p>The woman told court she was sleeping at the Heritage LRT station and all she remembers when she came to was seeing a person on top of her having sexual intercourse with her.</p> <p>She says she knew something was wrong, scratched the assailant’s face and just blacked out again.</p> <p>Asked if the person responsible was in the courtroom, she pointed to the 16-year-old male who is accused of the crime.</p> <p>The woman is not from Alberta and says she was drinking with friends and got separated.</p> <p>The trial for the youth is slated to last all week.</p> <p>(CHQR)</p>
