The B.C. River Forecast Centre has issued a high stream flow advisory for the Falkland area.
Warmer weather melting the snowpack has meant water levels on the upper Salmon River have been rising over the past few days.
About 20 mm of rain is expected in the region through Thursday night.
River levels are expected to remain elevated or rise slightly through to Thursday night.
No major problems are expected.
Some minor flooding in low-lying areas can be anticipated.
