REGINA – After more than 100 years in the business, the owners of Loggie’s Shoes are closing the doors.
Loggie’s Shoes has been a staple on Hamilton Street for 106 years.
Owner Kelly Hague bought the business from his father, Herald Hague, 30-years-ago and says it’s time to close the doors and retire.
“People have their own ideas about what kind of products they want to carry and what kind of store they want to run therefore it’s hard to sell a small business like this. If you don’t have family members or friends that want to get into the business then the only alternative is to close the business,” said Hague.
Hague is leaving the store as of April, but it will remain open until late spring or early summer until the stock is sold off.
