UPDATE: Snowfall warning ended in southwest Saskatchewan

SASKATOON – Environment Canada has ended a snowfall warning in southwest Saskatchewan.

Late Thursday morning, weather radar and satellite imagery continued to indicate heavy snowfall over south-central Alberta and into southwestern Saskatchewan.

This system was expected to track into the Kindersley area late in the morning with the heaviest snowfall concentrations along and south of Highway 7.

Total snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 centimetres were possible, especially between Kindersley and the Leader areas near the Alberta border.

Snow was expected to taper off in the afternoon.
