Global Saskatoon anchors Lisa Dutton, Warren Dean and Kevin Jesus are being exiled – to Exile Island that is – in support The Children’s Wish Foundation.
On Thursday, May 19, they will be exiled as part of the Big Mean Media Machine tribe competing against nine other tribes in an afternoon of challenges that will test their mental, creative and physical abilities.
The goal is simple – raise enough funds so Children’s Wish can grant wishes to local children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
This year, the Big Mean Media Machine’s wish child ambassador is Leslie, who was diagnosed two years ago with Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph tissue. Leslie hasn’t decided on his wish yet, but best friend Roary, the keeper of secrets, may know.
Help support The Children’s Wish Foundation and the Big Mean Media Machine’s goal of raising $10,000 as they toil away on Exile Island on May 19th to make Leslie’s wish come true.
