Eleven more outdoor rinks to remain open across Toronto

TORONTO – Despite monetary shortcomings, 11 more of Toronto’s outdoor rinks will now remain open until the end of March.

Only 17 of the city’s 52 outdoor rinks had enough funding to remain open until March 16th, but eleven more rinks will now remain open with corporate funding from Canadian Tire and Scotiabank, as long as weather permits.

That brings the total amount of rinks that will remain open to 28.
