Laurie Hawn holds onto Edmonton-Centre seat

Incumbent Conservative Laurie Hawn is headed back to Ottawa after claiming victory – his third in three years – in the riding of Edmonton Centre.

Hawn faced strong competition this year from Liberal Candidate Mary MacDonald and NDP candidate Lewis Cardinal.

Hawn was first elected to parliament in 2006 after an unsuccessful bid in 2004 when he was narrowly defeated by former Liberal MP Anne McLellan.
