OTTAWA – Transport Canada has certified General Dynamics’ Gulfstream G500 and G600 business jets, following threats from U.S. President Donald Trump.
A spokesperson for the office of the transport minister says the government is still discussing the certification of other aircraft with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

So proper reporting… do they pass inspections, or are we relying on the US exemptions to have unsafe planes in the air?
Not that it really matters for sales, Canadians will boycott the planes anyway. It only allows US owners to fly in Canada for business, and Trump is against doing business with Canada. – Tell me how that makes any sense.
