Edmonton public to announce plan to deal with overcrowding

Edmonton – Eleven of Edmonton’s most overcrowded public schools are eager to hear the Edmonton Public School Board’s (EPSB) plan to deal with the issue.

The EPSB is expected to announce at 2 p.m. Tuesday how it will remedy overcrowding in its most affected schools.

Edmonton Public Schools will be live streaming the announcement on its website. Click here to watch at 2 p.m. 

The changes could include transport students by bus to schools with more space and redrawing boundaries.

The EPSB has been gathering feedback since December.
