<p>NICOLET, Que. – The bronze behemoth is back.</p> <p>Quebec provincial police say a six-foot tall, 1,000-pound statue has been found after being stolen earlier this week.</p> <p>They say it was recovered today at a metal recycling plant in Trois-Rivieres, midway between Montreal and Quebec City.</p> <p>Bandits made off with the 85-year-old monument sometime Tuesday outside a former religious residence in Nicolet.</p> <p>The statue of Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort, a French saint who founded the religious community, was intact. </p> <p>Sgt. Eloise Cossette says police still have no suspects in the case.</p> <p>Police believe a vehicle was used in the heist to knock the statue off its pedestal.</p> <p>Police say the statue is believed to be worth tens of thousands of dollars.</p> <p>Cossette says the investigation is continuing.</p>
