Jennifer Jones rink clinches Sochi semi-final spot in women’s curling

SOCHI, Russia – Canada’s women’s curlers have clinched a spot in the semi-final after beating Russia 5-3 in round-robin action Saturday.

The rink, skipped by Winnipeg’s Jennifer Jones, has beaten all seven of its opponents so far. Earlier Saturday, the Canadian women downed Japan 8-6.
