KELOWNA- A Kelowna business figures it was duped by a pro and they want to identify him, but most importantly they want the stolen goods back.
The “pro” is a thief. The business is Gaby Diamond Gallery on Bernard in downtown Kelowna.
The theft happened last Thursday afternoon when the thief snatched an expensive gold necklace worth several thousand dollars.

More importantly, the necklace belonged to a customer and has sentimental value.
Anita Siemens, co-owner of the jewelry store, says the client asked her to go public with the theft.
“It was custom made for a client, and he’s very upset because its sentimental to him. He really wants it back. He knows that we will make him a new one if we don’t get it back. But the whole issue is he really wants that chain back.”
It wasn’t the thief’s first time at the store. He came in at around noon last Thursday without taking anything and returned a couple of hours later when he committed the theft.
The jewelry shop’s surveillance got a good look at him. If you recognize him, you’re asked to call the RCMP.
