Montreal man faces charges after juvenile prostitution probe in downtown Toronto

TORONTO – A Montreal man is facing charges after a police probe into allegations of juvenile prostitution in Toronto’s downtown core.

Toronto police say they began their investigation in late January after getting a tip that a 17-year-old girl was procured to become a prostitute earlier in the month.

Stefan Jordan, 29, is charged with procuring a person to become a prostitute, exercising control and living on the avails of prostitution of a person under 18 years old.

A warrant has also been issued for the arrest of Jessica Naoufal, 22, of Montreal.

Police say they believe there may be more victims and they are urging anyone with information to contact investigators.
