NFL draft prospect Michael Sam is the first college football player to publicly announce he’s gay. Sam made the announcement on Sunday. Kristopher Wells with the University of Alberta institute of Sexual Minority Studies talks about the possible impact Sam’s decision could have on the NFL and professional sports in general.
