The Tenors join Cirque du Soleil for benefit show

TORONTO — Canadian vocal group The Tenors will be in Las Vegas next month for a benefit show created by Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil.

The second annual One Night for One Drop takes place March 21 at Mandalay Bay.

One Drop is a non-profit organization established in 2007 by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté with a mission to provide fresh water to people around the world.

During a media preview, The Tenors — Remigio Pereira, Victor Micallef, Fraser Walters and Clifton Murray — performed their version of “Forever Young” as street performers.

Walters told the Las Vegas Sun the group is not opposed to being suspended from the rafters and flown over the audience like Cirque performers.

“If there’s time to try something outlandish, it’s when you’re on a Cirque stage,” Walters said. “We’ve signed some waivers, so anything goes, right? We’re ready for anything.”
